Just surfed across an article doing some more dumping on the movie R.I.P.D. — in the headline, quoting star Jeff Bridges as declaring that the movie is “Underwhelming.”
In the text I see that he said it was “a little underwhelming” and seemed to be talking as much about the box office as the film itself. (I think if you’re shooting for a summer blockbuster, naturally you want it to bust some blocks.)
He also says that it was one of the most fun movies to shoot he’s ever worked on.
Shows in his performance, which I think will climb into his Top 5 or 10 fun movies (with different standards for dramatic vehicles, though any list of General Best Of would have Lebowski, sure).
